What Lead Loader is for
Leads often arrive as a spreadsheet: a list from an event, a partner or a data vendor. Loading them as HubSpot form submissions, rather than a plain import, makes them run through the same workflows, lists and attribution as any other form fill.
Lead Loader does that for you, in bulk, with a review step before anything is sent.
How Lead Loader works
You connect your own HubSpot portal, pick a form, and upload a CSV or Excel file. Lead Loader then walks you through four steps.
- Map each column of your file to a field on the form, with synonyms suggested for you.
- Clean the list: fix shifted columns, strip notes, handle blanks and drop duplicates.
- Review what will be sent, and download the cleaned file and the list of issues.
- Submit the rows as form entries, and follow the job until it finishes.
Excel and Salesforce
An Excel add-in lets you start a load from inside a workbook, and a Salesforce destination is being added next to HubSpot. The owner switches each one on for the accounts that need it.
Access is by approval
Lead Loader writes into real marketing systems, so each person is approved before they use it. Sign in if you already have access. If you do not, request access and the owner is told. Your connections and saved mappings belong to your account alone.
Frequently asked questions
Who can use Lead Loader?
Approved accounts only. Sign in with Google to find out where you stand, or request access if you do not have it yet.
Does it replace the HubSpot importer?
No. It submits rows as form entries, which fire workflows and attribution the way a visitor's own submission does. The importer is the better choice when you only want to create or update contact records.
Do I need to give you my HubSpot password?
No. You connect with HubSpot's own sign-in or with a private app token that you create, and you can disconnect it at any time.
Can I preview a load before it sends?
Yes. A review step shows how each row will be sent and what was cleaned. Nothing is submitted until you start the load.
